Role Summary

Operates production machines and equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a direct-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

• Stop work and immediately report any danger of serious injury.
• Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Promote interdependence by being attentive to each other.
• Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
• Recognize how your work can impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
• Participate in HSE training.

Quality

• Follows any applicable standard work procedures, process documentation and quality
• It raises issues to minimize costs and quality exposures.
• Perform quality inspections.
• Identify and control non-conforming materials.

Delivery

• Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product to create the appropriate features and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Achieve production objectives.
• Works within the required cycle time or to the defined engineering standard.
• Maintains work area clean and orderly, including routine cleaning tasks and machine cleaning tasks, and performs planned maintenance and operator care tasks.
• Remains flexible and performs other various tasks, as necessary, to meet production goals.
• Works with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment requiring repair.
