BSI is recruiting 'BIM Auditors' to play a key role in maintaining product excellence. In this position, you will conduct product certification audits in a variety of environments to ensure compliance with BSI's rigorous certification scheme and Kitemark standards.

We are looking for professionals who can conduct BIM-related audits based on the ISO 19650 framework. We welcome those with auditing experience and those who are familiar with quality management systems (ISO 9001). Experience with PAS 2080 (Carbon Management in Infrastructure) is also preferred.

Main job description

・Create audit reports and report to customers, providing clear instructions on understanding audit results and corrective actions

• Preparation of audit reports for certificate issuance and re-issuance (in English and Japanese) and recommendations for withdrawal in accordance with BSI policies, procedures and prescribed time frames.
• Responsible for designated accounts, ensuring effective partnership, quality service delivery, and account growth.

-Lead the review team as needed to ensure members are well-informed and maintain good relationships with customers and within the team.

・Work closely with support departments to provide accurate and prompt information in order to update client records, comply with internal information requirements, etc.

・Provide guidance to inexperienced examiners and members unfamiliar with specific fields, and provide training support for new members.

・Plan and adjust your work schedule to effectively use your time and maximize profit-making activities.

• Comply with all BSI procedures, work-from-home policies, equipment usage, internal and external communications regulations, and participate in required training.

・Have the desire to aim for lead auditor qualification through the prescribed program (onboarding is available according to experience, skills, and scheme requirements)

・Have knowledge and application skills regarding standardized examinations and be able to respond to examinations.

・Manage client portfolio specified according to territory, qualifications, and contract requirements

・Efficiently carry out everything from communicating with clients, adjusting visit schedules, itinerary planning, conducting examinations, and reporting results.

・Monitor client account operations such as record management, visit frequency, and billing to maintain satisfaction level.

・Lead the team and provide guidance and mentoring to new or inexperienced members as needed.

・Other operations necessary to achieve business goals related to examination provision

Application qualifications/conditions

• 4+ years of experience in BIM, architecture/construction, or similar industry

・Expert knowledge of BIM framework based on ISO 19650

・Experience with PAS 2080 (Carbon Management in Infrastructure) is a plus

・Experience in third-party certification examinations, factory audits, etc. (based on various standards)

・Those who can travel frequently

・Knowledge of quality management system (ISO 9001) examination practices
