Role Summary
Processing of technical equipment systems across all project phases – from concept development to detailed planning to commissioning
Planning and specification of mechanical, process engineering and electrical components, such as pumps, fans, compressors, heat exchangers, gas utilization and sewage gas systems, fittings as well as measurement, control and regulation technology
- Coordination with clients, experts, specialist engineering offices, authorities and other project participants
- Close collaboration with engineers, design teams and project managers within interdisciplinary projects
- Support with capacity and resource planning in the project environment
- Participation in the acquisition of new projects as well as support in preparing offers, calculations and the development of technical concepts
- Development of economical, sustainable and technically resilient solutions for water and process engineering systems

Requirements
Successfully completed studies in process engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology, environmental technology or a comparable technical field. Several years of professional experience, ideally at least five years, in the planning, design and project management of technical equipment systems. Experience in planning and specifying system components such as pumps, aggregates, EMSR technology or process engineering systems is desirable. Ideally, you have knowledge of project management according to HOAI.
Professional competencies
In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines and regulations in the area of technical equipment, for example DIN, DWA, VDI and VOB. Strong understanding of process engineering processes, flow processes, energy efficiency and operational safety as well as technical and economic relationships within complex plant projects. Very good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least level C1).
Working method & mindset
A structured, responsible and quality-oriented way of working as well as a high degree of responsibility and initiative characterize the ideal candidate. Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary project teams, a strong customer and solution orientation as well as the willingness to work together across disciplines and locations are required. Flexibility for occasional project-related trips and supra-regional project support as well as interest in sustainable and innovative solutions in plant and hydraulic engineering complete the profile.
Tools
Confident handling of MS Office applications. Experience with AVA applications such as California, iTWO or comparable systems is an advantage. Knowledge of CAD-based planning tools and the creation of technical diagrams is desirable. Routine in the use of digital tools for planning, documentation and project management is required.
