Work Locations: Kildare, Dublin, Westmeath, Meath, Laois.

Salary: €18,05 p.a.

Hours: 40hrs/w

Tots Childcare is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Playgroup Leaders to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play activities.
• Supervise children and support their physical, social, emotional and language development.
• Prepare safe play areas, activities and materials.
• Encourage children’s confidence, independence, creativity and social skills.
• Organise and supervise outdoor activities, walks and excursions.
• Observe children’s development and maintain the required records.
• Communicate with parents, guardians and colleagues about children’s development and well-being.
• Follow all health, safety and safeguarding procedures, including reporting accidents or concerns.
• Keep toys, equipment and play areas clean, safe and organised.
• Work with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• A minimum QQI Level 5 childcare qualification or recognised equivalent.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• The ability to plan engaging play activities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, responsible and child-centred approach.
• A willingness to learn and develop.
• Successful Garda vetting and reference checks.
