Role Summary

We are currently looking for Kitchen Helpers for our pastry area in our production plant located in the Madrid airport area. If you have a passion for efficiency, quality and teamwork, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

As a Pastry Assistant, your responsibilities will include

• Carry out the plating of the prepared desserts, as well as their decoration. Cover and mark the expiration date.
• Control the temperature of the plating and carry out the relevant records (manually and/or digitally) to facilitate it to the Quality Department.
• Perform simple tasks within the Pastry Shop, such as baking pastries, preparing mousses. Carry out the distribution and plating of the finished product.
• Carry out cutting fruits or desserts, autonomously and following the specifications indicated by the client. Place the prepared fruit on trays.
• Carry out the mixing of the yogurts/mousses according to the weight specifications and carry out their decoration.
• Transport the prepared desserts on trays to the cold room.
• Support other pastry productions, if the situation requires it (such as scooping ice cream balls, painting mousses and rolling dough).
• Maintain the order of refrigerators, plant and freezers of both raw materials and finished products, under supervision, in order to ensure correct rotation of the FIFO (first in - first out).
• Manage the order and cleanliness of the area, complying with hygiene standards.
• Respect the company's environmental policy with responsibility for its specific area, promoting its compliance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in pastry, the catering sector or on production lines is valuable
• Possessing a food handler's license is valuable
• Availability to work rotating morning, afternoon and evening shifts from Monday to Sunday
• Immediate incorporation availability
• Accustomed to working in dynamic and changing environments
