It is necessary to have a DC-3 certificate to operate Forklifts (it is not essential that it be valid)
Responsible for unloading, storing, moving and loading finished products or materials for packaging and exporting beer, through the safe and efficient handling of forklifts in conventional warehouses. Its main objective is to ensure that the materials, supplies and finished products are properly protected in quantity, quality and in the required times, complying with the established operating procedures and contributing to the achievement of the goals, objectives and production costs defined by Management.
Responsibilities
1 Comply with and execute the activities according to the methodologies required by its Specialists in the processes of loading finished products for export, receiving productive materials such as cans, plastic pallets and packaging, through the execution of the procedures established by management and implemented by the Team Leaders, with the objective of achieving compliance with the Planning and Supply work plans.
2 Properly use forklifts, by complying with their handling regulations, together with the Specialist, with the objective of preserving useful life and having sufficient equipment to comply with the loading and unloading plans of materials and/or finished product.
3 Verifies materials at reception through a visual inspection of them and checking the information on incoming deliveries recorded in the AMPT portable system, this to ensure that the items and quantities received are appropriate, the inventory information is real and allows for accurate financial analysis.
4 With the intention of monitoring the monthly closings, you must maintain the order of the materials referring to the finished product and empty container, through the operation of the forklift, identifying that they are arranged in the indicated places, so that the Specialist can easily verify their existence.
5 Work with your team on the key activities that help comply with the indicators established by the Operations Management in the areas of Reception of empty boats, loading of finished product (vans and containers) and reception of input materials, respecting the established procedures, in order to comply with the plans established by Planning and Supply in the Brewery.
6 Properly uses the tools and keeps them in good condition such as hand helds, access ramps to vans, forklifts, area infrastructure according to the operation needs, requests the Specialist in case any additional tool or infrastructure is used to ensure compliance with the Planning and Supply programs.
- 7 Performs the proper execution of work cycles of its procedures.
- 8 Maintains order and cleanliness in operational areas, through the application of NOM-251 and PPRs of the department, with the aim of making the operation more fluid, safe and without setbacks.
- 9 Report failures in your forklift, by recording its checklist, in order to operate the equipment in adequate safety conditions. Record failures and ensure that the equipment always operates properly
- 10 Report any incident regarding C-TPAT to your Specialist, through communication and knowledge of the policies, in order to keep workplaces safe.
- 11 You must participate in the training and evaluations that the department determines
- 12 Is aware of reporting any unsafe act or condition in its areas and operations
- 13 Complies with the Brewery's General Procedures
Requirements
1 year in forklift operation
Skills
Teamwork, availability, good attitude, constant.
Basic portable device handling, heavy equipment handling
Ability to work in high pressure environments, ease of physical movement, lifting up to 20 kg.
