We are looking for an OpenStack Engineer to design, deploy, operate and support large-scale IT environments for our international clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with OpenStack, a good understanding of IT infrastructure, and a keen interest in building highly available and scalable systems. You will work closely with our internal teams as well as our clients to provide reliable IT services and resolve their technical challenges. This role is essential to ensure the stability, performance and growth of our OpenStack-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure and maintain OpenStack environments for production
• Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability and capacity
• Troubleshoot issues with OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone and others
• Perform updates, expansions and lifecycle management tasks
• Work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve their technical issues
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to integrate OpenStack with our other platforms and tools
• Automate business processes to improve efficiency and consistency
• Write and maintain documentation related to processes, configurations and best practices
• Participate in call rotations to support critical systems
• Assist in the preparation and review of architecture designs for new deployments

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack in a production environment
• Good understanding of compute, networking, storage and identity services in OpenStack
• Mastery of Linux administration and fundamental networking concepts
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as KVM
• Experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform or other automation frameworks
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
• Experience scripting with Python, Go or similar languages
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and perform root cause analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to OpenStack or other open source projects
• Knowledge of Ceph or other distributed storage technologies
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Experience in large-scale cloud infrastructure environments
