Role Summary

• Advising company management and executives on all issues relating to occupational safety, health and environmental protection
• Carrying out safety inspections, risk assessments and workplace analyzes as well as deriving suitable measures
• Analysis of work accidents, development of sustainable prevention measures and monitoring of implementation
• Planning, organizing and participating in the implementation of instructions and training
• Creation and updating of operating instructions, safety concepts, emergency plans and safe work procedures
• Accompaniment of internal and external audits as well as support with certifications, especially according to ISO 45001
• Close cooperation with company doctors, safety officers, authorities and professional associations
• Continuous improvement of the occupational health and safety management system

Requirements

• Completed qualification as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with DGUV regulation 2
• At least 2 years of professional experience in occupational safety, in the HSE environment or in a comparable advisory role
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant laws, standards and regulations in occupational safety, health and environmental protection
• Practical experience with risk assessments, safety inspections, accident analyzes and prevention measures
• Experience with occupational health and safety management systems and ideally knowledge of ISO 45001
• Strong consulting and communication skills, combined with a confident appearance and assertiveness
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as confident use of MS Office and ideally digital HSE tools
• Class B driving license, willingness to travel in the Frankfurt area and business fluent knowledge of German and English
