MCU driver software development engineer_SO at Bosch Group in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
Role Summary
- Responsible for completing MCU driver development for automotive grade applications based on system design requirements and hardware design (such as kernel startup control, interrupt management, CAN&SPI and other peripheral drivers, etc.).
- Responsible for decomposing the corresponding MCU security mechanism application targets according to the system-level TSR, and completing the development of security mechanism application driver software based on the security mechanism provided by the MCU. (For example, ROM test/Ram test/Clock monitor/Core voltage monitor/Bist/MPU/…).
- Assist test engineers to complete relevant test case design.
- Participate in ECU software requirements analysis, architecture design and V process development (requirements → design → code → testing).
- Optimize the performance of the underlying software (real-time, memory usage, startup time, etc.) and solve issues such as low power consumption, EMC, and functional safety in the field of automotive electronics.
- Cooperate with the hardware team to complete hardware-software collaborative design and design test software to support hardware testing.
- Write technical documents that comply with automotive industry standards (such as requirements analysis, detailed software design, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, major in electronic engineering, computer, vehicle engineering and other related majors.
More than 2.3 years of experience in automotive electronics embedded development, familiar with MCU working principles.
- Have a deep understanding of the MCU working mechanism and be familiar with at least one kernel instruction (such as Arm, PowerPC, Tricore, etc.).
- Have an in-depth understanding of the working principles of MCU peripherals (such as CAN/ADC/SPI/GTM, etc.) and be able to independently develop drivers that meet stringent time constraints.
- Be able to skillfully use debugging tools (such as Lauterbach, E2, i-System, etc.) to conduct online debugging and multi-core joint debugging of software.
- Understand the basic principles of vehicle ECU hardware, understand the hardware design principles, and collaborate with hardware developers to complete hardware function testing.
- Understand the automotive functional safety standard ISO 26262. Be familiar with ASIL classification and safety mechanism design, and have experience in ASIL C/D product development.
- Have an in-depth understanding of ISO 26262 for MCU hardware functional safety, and be familiar with the safety mechanism, safety manual, safety application manual, and FMEDA of at least one MCU chip.
- Understand the mapping relationship between system-level TSR and MCU security mechanism, be able to correctly apply MCU security mechanism, and complete the development of corresponding driver software.
- Have experience in MCU safety mechanism driver software development (such as: Rom test/Ram test/clock monitor/Core voltage monitor/BIST/…), and participate in the development of at least one mass production project with ASIL D level requirements.
