Manager SAP Business Development – Insurance (m/w/d)

Role Summary

You will spend a significant part of your role in demanding SAP insurance projects with our customers, where you will take on responsibility from analysis to solution design to successful implementation

In your project work, you lead teams or streams, control delivery and ensure quality, transparency and reliability towards customers and internal stakeholders

You will specifically use your consulting expertise to translate technical requirements from insurance specialist areas into viable SAP-based solution approaches

In addition to project work, you will design business development for SAP topics in the insurance environment together with the business area and actively contribute your market view and project experience

With an eye on customer needs and market trends, you identify growth potential, further develop topics and offers and provide impulses for the further development of our SAP Insurance portfolio

You play a key role in the offer and pre-sales phases, structuring solution images, evaluating efforts, creating convincing documents and accompanying customer appointments

As an experienced leader, you represent Sopra Steria in customer and network contexts and position SAP Insurance topics in a professional manner

Reporting and control are of course part of it for you; you create transparency about progress, pipeline and need for action and derive concrete measures from this

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

• You have completed a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, economics or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience in SAP-related transformation or consulting projects in the insurance environment or in a comparable IT consultancy
• You are characterized by in-depth knowledge of the SAP Insurance context and a good understanding of the technical and organizational requirements of the insurance industry
• Project work is central to you - you have already taken on responsibility, for example as a sub-project manager, stream lead or in a senior expert role
• You see business development as an integral part of your role and work closely with the business area on opportunities, offers and presales activities
• Your strengths include communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to bring together different interests and prepare decisions
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good knowledge of spoken and written English round off your profile
