Role Summary
Manager for key customers
Manufacturers of switchboards
The manager for key customers is responsible for the development of business relationships and business opportunities, primarily with manufacturers of switchboards on the Slovak market. Its main goal is to increase the share of Schneider Electric solutions and products in partners' projects, build long-term business partnerships and identify new opportunities for turnover growth. A smaller part of the portfolio consists of selected contractors and system integrators.
Description of work activities
- Ensures the care of assigned key customers, primarily manufacturers of switchboards and contractors operating in the field of energy, industry and buildings.
- Actively seeks new business opportunities and develops business relationships in assigned segments.
- Regularly visits customers, identifies their needs and proposes appropriate business and technical solutions.
- Implements Schneider Electric products, systems and solutions in customer projects.
- Prepares and presents business offers, conducts business negotiations and negotiates business terms.
- Collaborates with technical engineers, product managers and marketing team to support customers.
- Monitors business opportunities, projects, market developments and competitor activities.
- Manages assigned business cases from opportunity identification to successful project implementation.
- Maintains and updates the business agenda in the CRM system.
- Organizes and supports training, workshops and technical-business meetings for customers.
Requirements
- Secondary school/university education in a technical direction (electrical engineering is an advantage). Alternative economic education supplemented with experience in technical B2B sales. .
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or technical-commercial position.
- Market knowledge of manufacturers of switchboards, electrical distribution systems or energy solutions is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term partner relationships.
- Independence, results orientation and proactive approach.
- Group B driver's license.
- English language at a communicative level.
Profile of the successful candidate
The successful candidate will spend most of their time developing collaborations with switchboard manufacturers, building strategic partnerships and business opportunities. A smaller part of the activities is aimed at selected contractors and system integrators who influence the selection and implementation of Schneider Electric solutions.
