Logistic Area Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Area Manager for our new warehouse in Opatovice nad Labem near Hradec Králové.

You have a unique chance to be there from day one. You will be the one who starts operations in Opatovice, breathes life into the warehouse and builds a functioning team on a shift. We are not looking for a person in the office, but a leader directly into action in traffic. What awaits you here?

• Team management on shift: You will have people under you, take care of their motivation, division of work and coordination of the entire team.
• Monitoring of results (KPIs): You will manage and improve key indicators - you will focus not only on the efficiency of the team.
• Working with data: We manage operations smartly. You will monitor the numbers, evaluate the performance of the shift and react to the current situation in real time.
• Improving processes: Do you notice that something is not working perfectly? You will get space to modify and streamline internal processes.
• Communication across the warehouse: You will be in constant contact with other departments and managers to ensure that the entire shift runs smoothly together.
• Shift work: We work in a short/long week mode (12-hour shifts).

• You have experience in managing people: You know how to communicate with people, how to motivate them and how to lead a larger team in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the warehouse is a plus: If you are already familiar with warehouse processes, this will be your great advantage, but the most important thing for us is your approach to work.
