Legal Counsel / In-House Lawyer

Role Summary

We are looking for a lawyer / Legal Counsel to join the staff - a person who will take on the full legal support of an IT company: from contractual work with international clients to labor relations, military accounting and Diya.City. The role involves not just fulfilling requests, but building and standardizing legal processes in a company that operates in Ukraine / USA / UK structures. If you know how to keep several priorities at the same time, think in terms of risks and not just tasks - this position is for you.

It will be a plus

• Experience in the field of intellectual property: registration and protection of trademarks;
• Preparation of legal opinions and consultations for Finance / HR / Delivery;
• Participation in due diligence processes (GDPR, compliance, customer checks);
• Experience in claim work and coordination of external legal consultants;
• Experience building a legal function or processes from scratch;

Participation in tender processes and analysis of legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Preparation, analysis and approval of contracts with clients, contractors and partners — NDA, NCA, MSA, Service Agreements, Contractor Agreements, bilingual contracts and DUs, templates;

• Support and standardization of the company's contractual base; participation in negotiations and agreement of legal positions with clients and partners;
• Legal support of labor relations: employment, change of conditions, termination of cooperation; support of FOP models / gig contracts / labor contracts;
• Support of internal HR policies and legal processes of the HR department;
• Support for issues of military accounting, mobilization and reservation, work with Diya.City;

Monitoring of legislative changes and assessment of their impact on the company's activities.

• Higher legal education; 3–5+ years of experience in the legal department, with experience in an IT company;
• Knowledge of contractual, corporate, labor and economic law;
• Practical experience in preparing and agreeing contracts, in particular English-language contracts (NDA, MSA, Service Agreements, etc.);
• Experience working with international structures (Ukraine / USA / UK);
• Experience or willingness to work with military accounting, booking and Diya.City issues;
• English Upper-Intermediate+;
