Role Summary

As a Junior Purchasing Specialist, you are partly responsible for a smoothly running branch and an excellent customer experience. You not only support the purchasing process, but you also learn to take on commercial and operational responsibilities more and more independently

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Auto Purchaser during the entire purchasing process
• Professionally assisting customers in the sale of their car
• Processing documents regarding valuations, purchase and transfer
• Ensuring complete and correct file handling
• Supporting the daily operations at the location
• Flexible support at different locations when necessary
• Learn to value cars step by step
• Actively develop towards an independent role as a car buyer

Requirements

• Completed MBO-4 or HBO education
• You have an affinity with cars and commerce
• You have strong communication skills, customer-oriented, eager to learn and ambitious
• You like to tackle things and take responsibility
• You enjoy doing varied work
• You can be deployed flexibly at different locations
• Driving license B is required
• Are available to work on Saturdays

As a Junior Purchasing Specialist you are much more than an administrative supporter. You are partly responsible for the success of the branch and actively support the entire purchasing process of used cars. You combine operational responsibility, customer contact and commercial support with learning how to value and negotiate.

This function has been deliberately set up as a hybrid role between support and independent purchasing. You work closely with experienced car buyers, but you develop step by step towards an independent commercial position within AUTO1 Group.
