ITO Surveyor - Reactor at S/E New Pichirropulli 220 kV

Role Summary

We are looking for an ITO Surveyor to work on the Nueva Pichirropulli 220 kV Substation project, in charge of carrying out the topographic control and verification of the different stages of construction and assembly of the work.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise topographic controls associated with civil works and assembly of the substation.
• Verify on the ground coordinates, elevations, levels, axes, alignments and dimensions of the executed works.
• Carry out topographical controls of excavations, foundations, anchor bolts, structures and equipment.
• Verify the correct location and leveling of structures and equipment in accordance with plans and technical specifications.
• Control geometric tolerances, verticality, plumb and alignment of structures.
• Review and validate surveys, layouts and topographic records carried out by the contractor.
• Generate and review reports, protocols and records associated with topographic controls.
• Detect deviations from plans and specifications, monitoring the corresponding corrections.
• Coordinate in the field with contractors, supervisors, specialists and other members of the ITO.
• Support quality control and progress monitoring of activities that require topographic verification.

Requirements

• Training: Geosurvey Engineer, Geosurvey Engineer, Surveyor, Surveyor Technician or equivalent professional.
• Experience: Verifiable experience in surveying civil works, assembly of structures and/or electrical infrastructure projects, ideally in substations and High Voltage transmission works.
• Experience in ITO: Previous experience in Technical Works Inspection (ITO) and topographic control functions in construction and assembly projects is desirable.
• Technical knowledge: Management of topographic instruments and equipment, surveys and layouts, control of coordinates and elevations, leveling, alignment and review of tolerances in accordance with plans and technical specifications.
• Residence: A professional resident in the area of Pichirropulli, Paillaco, La Unión, Río Bueno, Valdivia or nearby towns is required, or with the availability to move and remain in the area during the execution of the project.
