Job description

Location:
Suzhou, Jiangsu, China
Work arrangement:
On-site

Role Summary

Requirements analysis and system design

Deeply understand the functional requirements of OEMs for L2+/L2++ level autonomous driving systems (such as positioning accuracy, reliability, redundant design, etc.), and decompose them into performance indicators of IMU sensors (bias stability, noise density, bandwidth, delay, etc.).

In-depth understanding of the OEM's functional requirements for active and passive safety and chassis suspension systems for sensor signals.

Lead IMU sensor selection, parameter definition and system integration solution design to ensure that vehicle-level system functions and functional safety requirements are met.

Test verification and problem closure

Develop a test and verification plan for IMU sensors and positioning algorithms (simulation + module + real vehicle), and lead data collection, analysis and performance iterative optimization.

Support the implementation of OEM projects and solve engineering problems such as sensor calibration and environmental adaptability during mass production.

Cross-department collaboration and customer docking

Collaborate with domestic and overseas hardware teams to define IMU sensor hardware characteristics, collaborate with domestic and overseas software teams to optimize the real-time performance of software architecture, and collaborate with mechanical design teams to evaluate signal integration reliability.

Directly connect with OEM customers, provide technical solutions and promote the implementation of needs.

Technology forward-looking research

Track IMU technology trends (such as integrated navigation, anti-vibration and anti-shock design), and explore the application of high-precision positioning in L3 and above autonomous driving.

Requirements

Educational background

Master's degree or above, majoring in automation, electronic engineering, computer, navigation guidance and control, etc.

work experience

  • More than 5 years of IMU/inertial navigation system development experience, familiar with the automotive grade sensor development process; candidates with experience in mass production projects of autonomous driving positioning algorithms are preferred.
  • Deeply involved in the development of L2+/L2++ intelligent driving systems, familiar with functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE processes.

technical ability

  • Proficient in IMU error model (Allan variance analysis), calibration compensation and multi-sensor spatio-temporal synchronization technology.
  • Familiar with fusion algorithms such as Kalman filtering and factor graph optimization, and master C++/MATLAB and other tools to implement model establishment and calculation.
  • Have the ability to reversely deduce IMU performance parameters from system requirements (such as lateral positioning error <0.1m).

soft skills

Excellent cross-team communication skills, able to clearly communicate with global teams and customers in both Chinese and English (English working ability is required).
