We are looking for a forward-thinking HR Generalist to join our HR team. You will provide broad HR support across the employee lifecycle while actively embracing and contributing to the integration of AI-powered tools and technologies that are shaping the future of HR and our organisation. As a member of the JAPAC HR Team, you will be working with our HR Business Partners on the development, implementation, and administration of HR functions across the region, including; Talent Management, Employment Relations, Performance Management, Engagement, Employee Development, Recognition, Compensation & Benefits and HR Compliance.

This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and maintain the highest level of integrity. You will be customer focused and able to establish and maintain effective relationships in a fast paced and changing environment.

The role reports directly to the Sr. Director, HRBP - JAPAC, with dotted-line reporting responsibilities to the Regional HRBPs, to ensure alignment with their stakeholder groups and strategic initiatives. This structure provides direct exposure to HRBP strategic work and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HRBP’s and COE’s to implement and support programs, policies and initiatives.
  • Build credible and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to help facilitate effective employee communications and relations.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure people business metrics are quantified and outcome driven.
  • Conduct research and analyse data on assigned projects.
  • Own and assist HRBP’s with the delivery of Performance Improvement Processes.
  • Advise employees on people-related queries in partnership with HR Operations and Total Rewards.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures and support their ongoing development.
  • Assist with employee off-boarding process including Workday workflow, communication with employee, exit surveys/interviews and separation agreements.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

As a successful HR Generalist, you will possess the following:

  • You will be extremely organised and thrive in an environment that is mission-driven, results oriented and team spirited!
  • You must have the ability to collaborate on various projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure, to manage and work through a variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Min. 3+ years experience in an HR Operational role, in a comparable industry/organization.
  • Knowledge of employment laws across various JAPAC countries would also be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a global business is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and be an effective problem solver.
  • Self-motivated and willing to identify opportunities to innovate.
  • Enthusiasm for adopting AI tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness in HR processes and employee support.
  • Strong result and goal orientation.
  • Must have good judgment, be able to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is desirable.
  • Experience using Workday is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in technical/services organisations is desirable.

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge / Career Skills Program (CSP) Internship is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29 as enacted by 10 U.S.C. Sec 1143. Eligibility is restricted to members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty. SkillBridge/CSP period of eligibility is within the final 180 days of Active Duty service, and the SkillBridge/CSP must be completed prior to separation from Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge/CSP Internship is open to members of all services, and all ranks and experience levels. Service members should fully review SkillBridge/CSP Job Description for requirements and qualifications of the individual position.

SkillBridge participants participate in full time training with industry (40-hour work week) under permissive temporary duty military orders and are not eligible for compensation from CrowdStrike during SkillBridge participation, but will continue to receive all military wages and benefits as defined by the Department of Defense.
