In the area of market access, we operate in a strategic environment between the healthcare system, diverse stakeholders and the evaluation of current and future therapies. As a Healthcare Ecosystem Management (HEM) Lead (all genders), you will lead a Germany-wide team of regional Healthcare Ecosystem Managers. The team is responsible for designing, negotiating and implementing innovative care projects with a holistic approach. You ensure the optimization of patient pathways through innovative care concepts and actively involve a variety of stakeholders - including payers, service providers and institutional decision-makers in the healthcare sector - to ensure optimal regional market access for AbbVie's product portfolio.

Responsibilities
This is what you will move
- Leading and coaching the HEM team to ensure high performance and strategic alignment within the organization as well as ensuring close collaboration with the Regional Access Managers (RAMs) and the Market Access Leads for the therapeutic areas,
- Support proactive and cross-functional collaboration of the HEM team to ensure coordinated stakeholder engagement across payer and provider networks
- Promoting the establishment and expansion of comprehensive stakeholder networks and their strategic use
- Responsible for the design and implementation of innovative care projects with a holistic approach to ensure optimal market access at the regional level and optimize patient pathways
- Ensuring that knowledge is shared effectively, there is close coordination and mutual support between field teams and other market access functions
Requirements
This is what you bring with you
Completed university degree in the fields of health economics, natural sciences or economics or relevant alternative professional experience.
Expertise in accordance with Section 75 AMG
- At least 7 years of experience in market access or health policy in the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep understanding of the market access landscape and practical experience in optimizing patient pathways and working with networks as well as deep knowledge of the German healthcare system, reimbursement processes and the regulatory framework
- In-depth knowledge of the health policy and legal framework for the economic use of drugs and drug control, especially in the area of statutory health insurance associations, medical associations, health insurance companies and medical services
- Proven track record in people leadership, including managing infield teams and collaborating on cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management and strong problem-solving skills that enable you to successfully address complex challenges and build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in strategic, supra-regional collaboration with important decision-makers
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently within agreed strategic priorities
- Strategic thinking as well as high precision and analytical competence in order to comprehensively understand complex issues, analyze them in a targeted manner and translate them into pragmatic recommendations for action
- Experience in negotiations with payers, providers and healthcare policy stakeholders
- Strong ability to anticipate future developments and trends at an early stage and to proactively initiate appropriate measures to secure sustainable corporate goals
- Strong competence in active listening as well as in targeted and clear communication, which specifically promotes effective coordination and sustainable collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and customer-oriented manner and to impart knowledge
- Excellent social skills and a collaborative approach to specifically promote collaboration within the team and with various stakeholders
- High self-motivation, strong adaptability and the ability to effectively manage and implement multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
