As a Grants Specialist at ICON , you will contribute to our accounting and financial operations function, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes across our clinical programmes.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to scientific operations activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing the grant application process from start to finish.
• Researching and identifying grant opportunities that align with our organization's mission and values.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop compelling grant proposals.
• Ensuring compliance with grant funding requirements and deadlines.
• Tracking and reporting on grant activities and outcomes.

Requirements

You will bring relevant scientific operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience

• Fluent Japanese at native level, at least N1. English is workable.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nnprofit Management, Public Administration).
• Previous experience in grant writing, grant management, or a related field preferred. Ideally 1 year plus clinical trial related work experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
