General QA Engineer

Role Summary

Greetings!

We, Honeytech, are a dynamic, fast-growing project that has created a platform with comics in an Asian style and has already become #1 in its niche! Imagine Netflix, but for comics - in just a few years, we gathered 15+ million users, challenged the giants from South Korea and proved that we can build a world-class product from Ukraine! Our expert team has more than 90 specialists in the staff and grows more than 2.5 times every year.

We are currently actively scaling, launching new products, and looking for a General QA who works independently, thinks like a product, and wants to grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Full flexibility. We are full remote, but if you are more comfortable working from the office, there are options in Kyiv, Lviv and Warsaw.
• What will need to be done?
• Analyze requirements and documentation, determine test approach, priorities and risks for a task or release
• Prepare and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans, regression/smoke suites
• Work with test data through UI, API and database — find, prepare and validate
• Write high-quality bug reports with clear steps to reproduce, actual/expected result, evidence and severity/priority; validate fixes
• Participate in the release process: smoke/regression checks, pre-release risk assessment, stability support

Write and maintain automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript using Playwright, WebdriverIO or Cypress; work with test reports and CI/CD failures.

Requirements

You are our ideal new colleague if

• You have 2 years of commercial experience in the position of General QA.
• You have experience in manual testing of web/mobile web products — functional, regression, exploratory, cross-browser and cross-device.
• You write automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript: Playwright, WebdriverIO or Cypress.
• You understand client-server architecture and have experience testing content or media platforms: paywall, user states, access to content.
• You have basic knowledge of SQL, Git and understand the basics of CI/CD.
• You work with AI tools and understand their limitations in QA processes.
• You speak English at the Intermediate level or higher.
