As a Senior Project Engineer within Plant (Layout & Pipe) you will be an important part of our project deliveries within the process industry. You work with design and construction throughout the various phases of the project and contribute with both technical competence and experience in the development of sustainable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Your duties may include, among other things, that

• Develop technical solutions and functions within layout and pipe design
• Choose components and materials
• Create component and pipe lists
• Develop requirements specifications for equipment
• Work with 3D modeling of facilities
• Produce manufacturing and installation documents
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute specialist knowledge
• Carry out or contribute to stress analyzes of pipe systems
• Depending on the assignment, you either work as part of the customer's project organization or together with colleagues in our in-house projects from our office in Karlstad.
• The role offers great variety and the opportunity to use your experience to make a real difference in projects that contribute to the development of Swedish industry.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for someone who has a solid background in Plant (layout and pipe design) and who feels confident in taking responsibility for technical solutions in complex project environments.

To enjoy and succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Technical education from college or university, or equivalent experience
• Many years of experience in layout and pipe design, mainly from projects in the process industry, for example the pulp and paper industry, energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals or similar businesses
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driver's license when travel is part of the job

It is advantageous if you have experience in

• Stress analyzes of pipe systems
• Aveva E3D
• Plant3D
• PDMS
• AutoCAD
• Rohr2
• Auto pipe
