Role Summary

As a quality employee for fruit and vegetables, you are responsible for continuously ensuring product quality in our fruit and vegetable area. You are a crucial part of our logistics process and ensure that our customers always receive fresh and flawless goods.

The position is located in Garching near Munich and is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Quality control: Inspection of goods (focus on fruit and vegetables) upon delivery and in inventory
• Warehouse control: monitoring of maturity levels, storage locations and compliance with the FIFO principle
• Backup: Documentation of test results and ensuring traceability
• Product selection: Active selection of the best goods for sale
• Optimization: Implementation and tracking of corrective actions
• Complaint management: Processing customer feedback in close coordination with the team

This is what you bring with you

• Ideally, you have experience in dealing with fruit and vegetables, e.g. from retail at Aldi/Lidl/Rewe or from wholesale
• Good eye for quality and freshness
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to work in the cool of up to 3 degrees Celsius
• Willingness to work shifts from Monday to Sunday
• Good knowledge of English, alternatively good knowledge of German
