Regiomanager - Noord Nederland

Role Summary

Are you an energetic leader with a passion for cars and people? Do you want to work in a dynamic environment where you make an impact every day? Atwijkopenautos.nl no day is the same. As a Regional Manager for the Northern Netherlands region, you report directly to the Head of Purchasing and work together with two other regional managers. You are responsible for 10+ locations (exact locations will be determined in consultation).

This is what your working week looks like

You start the week at the head office, where you discuss the results of the past period and together determine the priorities for the coming week. Then you get into your company car and visit 2 to 3 branches in your region.

On location you coach buyers, discuss points for improvement and celebrate successes with the team. Between appointments, you delve into the figures, analyze your performance and work on concrete plans to further improve your region.

At the end of the day you conclude with a video call with fellow regional managers and the Head of Purchasing. You share your insights, discuss challenges and exchange ideas to achieve the best results together.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, developing and guiding your team.
• Use data to monitor purchasing figures and conversion rates, and make plans to optimize your business unit.
• Ensure optimal staffing to achieve purchasing objectives.
• Close collaboration with our customer service and pricing team to guarantee the correct stock of cars.
• Conduct extensive feedback conversations with your team members twice a year in collaboration with our People Team.
• Be present at our head office in Amsterdam one day a week for management meetings; the other days you visit the branches in your region.

Requirements

Completed HBO/WO education

• At least 3 years of experience as a manager in a commercial, operational or performance-oriented environment.
• Experience in managing, coaching or developing teams (+15 people)
• You live in the Northern Netherlands and are willing to travel nationwide.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with KPI-driven work.
• You know how to involve people in change and improvement processes.
• You are independent, results-oriented and have strong communication skills.
• Affinity with automotive is an advantage.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language; English is a plus.
