English Teacher – Online Classes

We are looking for a communicative, committed and passionate English Teacher to be part of our live online classes team.

Responsibilities and duties

• Plan, prepare and deliver live online classes with quality, dynamism and efficiency, ensuring punctuality at the beginning and end of activities;
• Comply with the schedules established for each class, following the institution's methodology, pedagogical planning and respecting the profile and needs of students;
• Fully follow the guidelines, procedures and standards established in the Conecta Project Guide, both when conducting classes and in the pedagogical and administrative processes related to the classes;
• Correctly carry out roll calls and record student attendance in all classes, keeping the information always up to date in the system;
• Record class diaries, including the content taught and other relevant information about the development of classes, within the established deadlines;
• Apply and correct homework assignments, activities and written and oral assessments, offering students clear and constructive feedback that contributes to their evolution;
• Carry out correctly and within deadlines the entry of grades, assessments, tasks, activities and other academic information into the school management system;
• Deliver bulletins, reports and other requested pedagogical documents, respecting established deadlines and procedures;
• Monitor the performance, participation and evolution of students, communicating to the pedagogical coordination relevant situations that require monitoring;
• Encourage student participation and engagement during classes, providing a welcoming, dynamic and interactive online learning experience;
• Encourage and guide students in the use of educational tools and resources made available by the institution, such as CNA Net, encouraging their use as a complement and extension of learning;
• Maintain professional and collaborative communication with the pedagogical coordination and other team members, participating in meetings, training and alignments whenever necessary;
• Demonstrate commitment, organization, responsibility and punctuality, both in carrying out classes and in complying with all records, entries and processes provided for by the Conecta Project.

Requirements

• Advanced command of the English language, with excellent oral and written communication and confidence in the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing;
• Good teaching, communication and resourcefulness to teach live online classes, creating a dynamic, interactive and motivating environment for students;
• Ease of working with different age groups and proficiency levels, adapting the conduct of the class according to the profile and needs of each class;
• Knowledge and familiarity with educational technology, video conferencing platforms and digital tools used in online teaching;
• Organization, responsibility, commitment and punctuality, both in carrying out classes and in carrying out educational activities and processes;
• Ease of following methodologies, planning, procedures and pedagogical guidelines, including the guidelines established by the Conecta Project;
• Availability to participate in training, training, meetings and educational events promoted by the institution;
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback and continually seek professional and pedagogical development;
• Have a computer or notebook, stable internet access and a suitable environment to teach quality online classes;
• Previous experience as an English teacher in language schools or educational institutions will be considered an advantage;
• Completed or ongoing degree in Literature, Pedagogy, Translation or related areas will be considered an advantage;
• International proficiency certifications, such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent, will be considered an advantage.
