Role Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer Specialist in Artificial Intelligence to technically lead the construction of solutions based on Generative AI and Machine Learning, accelerating the adoption of intelligent technologies in the company's products.

This professional will be responsible for defining application architectures with AI, technically leading strategic initiatives, developing scalable solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and integrating AI services into existing products, always aligned with the best software engineering, security and governance practices.

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Java and Cloud development, architectural vision, strong analytical skills and continuous interest in the evolution of the Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead Generative AI projects and intelligent solutions;
• Design architectures for applications based on LLMs, RAG and AI agents;
• Develop Java applications integrated with AI and Machine Learning services;
• Work together with Architecture, Product, Data and Engineering in the evolution of solutions;
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks and AI models;
• Define development standards for AI-based applications;
• Ensure security, governance, scalability and observability of smart solutions;
• Technically support other engineers in adopting AI within products;

Conduct proofs of concept (POCs) for new AI capabilities.

• Development of intelligent applications using Generative AI;
• Architectures based on LLMs and multimodal models;
• Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions;
• Development of intelligent agents (AI Agents);
• Integration of foundational models into the company's products;
• Evolution of AI platforms with a focus on scalability, cost and performance;
• Defining engineering standards for AI applications;
• Development of reusable components for AI consumption;
• Process automation using AI;

Technical mentoring for engineering teams.

• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions);

Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with Generative AI;
• Large Language Models (LLMs);
• Prompt Engineering;
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);
• AI Agents;
• MCP (Model Context Protocol);
• OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI or Amazon Bedrock;
• LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks;
• Embeddings and vector banks (Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector, Weaviate, ChromaDB);
• Fine-tuning and model evaluation (when applicable);
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, governance and security for AI;

Evaluation of models, metrics and optimization of cost and performance.
