Role Summary
As an employee (m/f/d) Warehouse & Logistics, you are responsible for the professional handling of all physical goods movements, order picking and timely production supplies while consistently adhering to the strict safety and logistics regulations of a chemical company.
Your tasks - Versatile and process-specific
On-Site Status: This position is carried out entirely on-site at our production site in Kreuzlingen.
Goods movement & picking: Professional loading and unloading of trucks as well as storage and retrieval of our goods according to the FIFO principle, including packing and labeling shipments of goods for worldwide shipping.
Production supply: Timely and reliable provision of components and raw materials directly to our production lines.
Process fidelity & documentation: Exact execution of our production and logistics regulations as well as complete documentation, strongly supported by checklists and ERP systems.
Safety & cleanliness: Consistent adherence to order, cleanliness and the strict safety guidelines of a chemical company throughout the entire storage area.
Team support: Active participation in the annual inventory, the annual financial statements as well as the willingness to work in a 2-shift system and occasional flexible assignments outside of normal times (e.g. in the event of shipping delays or production delays).
Requirements
- Your profile - Flexible team player with a safety focus
- Training & practice: Successfully completed vocational training (preferably logistician EFZ/EBA) or comparable in-depth professional experience in warehouse logistics - ideally in an industrial or chemical environment.
- Driving experience: Valid, SUVA-recognized forklift license with verifiable driving experience.
- Safety and quality awareness: High awareness of occupational safety when dealing with chemicals (dangerous goods) as well as an exact, structured way of working according to checklists.
- Personality & team spirit: Real team player with high tolerance, open and honest communication, strong ability to take criticism and continuous willingness to learn to constantly improve the workplace (5S/Kaizen).
- IT & Languages: Very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as a confident use of PC applications (Google Workspace / MS Office) and ERP systems.
