Role Summary
In the role, you will be one of the company's specialists in materials technology and an important resource in the work of developing and quality-assuring the performance of our products. You have a genuine interest in how material properties affect strength, function and lifespan and enjoy combining practical laboratory work with technical analysis, accident investigations and product development.
We are looking for you who have
Civil engineering or university engineering education in materials technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Interest in or experience with material investigations, metallography, or accident investigations.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
The service gives you the opportunity to collaborate with many other functions within the company. As the work takes place in cross-functional teams, the position requires good communication skills and a willingness to work together with others towards common goals.

Responsibilities
- Work with materials research and failure analysis in our materials laboratory to support product development, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Document and communicate results, both in writing and orally.
- Participate in the product teams' work with product development, product improvements and technical analyses.
A large part of the work consists of carrying out investigations and failure analyzes in our own materials laboratory. You will also coordinate activities with external laboratories, suppliers and internal functions and be part of a specialist group where knowledge exchange and collaboration are the focus.
The role also includes work in our product teams where you contribute to product improvements and technical investigations. Knowledge of construction methodology and work in CAD and PDM systems is therefore desirable. You will also have responsibility for ensuring a well-functioning operation and continued development of the laboratory.
