Fullstack Developer (Node + Angular + AWS) Sr - Remote (Argentina)

What is the goal of the squad?

We are working on a strategic technological modernization initiative aimed at the progressive shutdown of COBOL components, migrating critical functionalities towards a modern, maintainable and scalable architecture.

The team's focus is on surveying existing processes, understanding business rules embedded in legacy systems, redesigning solutions and building new capabilities using current technologies, mainly Node.js for backend and Angular for frontend.

The person who joins will participate in a high-impact project, related to the evolution of core systems, internal integrations and gradual replacement of legacy processes.

The context of the functionalities involved is transaction settlements, payments to businesses, generation of bank files and others associated with the acquisition life cycle.

1. Day to Day: Responsibilities and Tasks

• Develop new backend functionalities using Node.js.
• Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using Angular.
• Use services available on AWS.
• Participate in the technical and functional analysis of existing processes in COBOL.
• Collaborate in the migration of business logic from legacy systems to new applications.
• Work with relational databases, SQL queries and stored procedures when necessary.
• Participate in technical definitions with the Tech Lead and other team leaders.
• Ensure good development practices, code quality, testing and maintainability.
• Collaborate on the technical and functional documentation of migrated processes.
• Analyze incidents, bugs or functional differences between the legacy system and the new solution.
• Accompany comprehensive tests, validations with users and productive exit stages.
• Achieve an understanding of the processes being worked on, the interaction between them, and the impact of the changes being carried out.

• Solid experience developing backend with Node.js.

• Good technical judgment to write maintainable, scalable and testable code.
