Role Summary
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to support cybersecurity operations in enterprise environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will have the opportunity to work with market-leading security technologies, participating in infrastructure protection and collaborating with Infrastructure, Networks and Cloud teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Support the operation of security controls in on-premise and Google Cloud (GCP) environments.
- Perform vulnerability analyzes and support remediation activities.
- Manage and support endpoint security platforms (EDR/XDR).
- Provide support for firewalls and network security controls.
- Participate in incident investigations and continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare operational security documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Networks and Cloud teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Systems, Engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Security Operations.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR or vulnerability management tools.
- Knowledge or experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Analysis, problem solving and teamwork skills.
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or similar SIEM tools.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, or EDR solutions.
- Knowledge of Qualys, Tenable or Nessus.
- Knowledge of security services in Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.
