Contracts Specialist at Schneider Electric in Barra do Garças, Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out complete reviews of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Actively participate in negotiations with customers, partners and subcontractors, seeking favorable conditions and clear and enforceable obligations.
  • Contribute critically to the development of proposals and approval processes, ensuring adherence to corporate governance and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and review contractual communications, ensuring clarity, consistency and compliance with contractual rights and obligations.
  • Support the identification, assessment and mitigation of contractual risks, advising on strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Document contractual changes.
  • Support project teams in preparing, defining strategy and conducting claims, both to claim rights and defend disputes, ensuring robust documentation and contractual alignment.
  • Drive a proactive approach to risk and contract management, integrating these disciplines as an essential part of project delivery and organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Complete higher education in Law, Administration, Engineering, among others.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and/or managing contracts.
  • Advanced English (oral and written).
  • Spanish will be considered a big advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on practical solutions to complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience in the Data Center segment will be considered as an advantage.

Work location: São Paulo/SP | Hybrid model (in-person twice a week).
