Role Summary
This position is responsible for meeting sales and project plans by providing the highest level of customer service for the sale of equipment, strapping and other packaging supplies within the defined territory and industry segment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives assigned by brand and in total for each client and territory.
- Develop prospects and a network of new business opportunities.
- Provide technical advice to the client and a value proposition.
- Collaborate with other team members in managing accounts, projects or department initiatives.
- Prepare quotes and capture sales orders.
- Ensure correct pricing on all accounts and follow up on overdue payments when necessary.
- Monitor the manufacturing and delivery of products. Develop solid business relationships with internal clients (finance, services, production, logistics, etc.).
- Develop strong business relationships with key accounts.
- Organize an effective time and territory management plan that maximizes sales efficiency and allows an adequate balance of visits to existing accounts, target accounts, new accounts and business development prospects.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continually improve performance, gain experience, and grow professionally.
- Support the accounts receivable department in recovering overdue balances and ensuring your accounts remain current.
- Operate within assigned sales and promotion expense budgets.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience (sales, products, customer service).
- Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Intermediate-Advanced English
