Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

At Sopra Steria we want to expand our team of Cloud Engineers who will be part of our Cloud Center of Excellence

Responsibilities

• What challenge do we propose?
• Resolve area problems that are not documented and act as a technical reference for the squad.
• Manage and evolve the cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters in the area.
• Design and maintain the Terraform modules and Ansible roles used by the team
• Design the area's deployment pipelines and their quality controls.
• Train and support the L2A and L1B profiles of the squad.
• Attack the root cause of repeated incidents so that they stop entering.
• Record activity in ServiceNow and keep the CMDB accurate and up to date.
• Participate in rotation retention when appropriate to the assigned area.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a cloud, DevOps or SRE engineer in productive environments, having been the technical reference person for a team.

• Cloud: Azure as primary provider and AWS in scope — compute, networking (VPC/VNet), IAM, storage, balancing and managed services.
• Kubernetes and containers: EKS and AKS, Helm, cluster deployment and operation.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform (essential) and Ansible.
• Observability and cloud security applied to the operation.
• Operation under service level agreements with registration in ServiceNow.

Essential certification: at least an Associate of a hyperscaler; Very valuable CKA.
