Role Summary

We are looking for several new cloud technologists for our office in Hamar!

A lot of exciting things have happened here at Sopra Steria in Hamar, with an increased volume of assignments and new employees. We are over 50 committed people, and are expanding with several professional spearheads who can contribute expertise to our customers, both locally and nationally. We have an interesting environment with many specialists, a culture of sharing and a wide range of projects with great social significance.

We are experiencing great demand for private and hybrid cloud solutions, and therefore need more people on the team! We combine the best of private and public cloud. Our goal is to build robust hybrid platforms that take care of the needs for security and national autonomy, balanced against the need for innovation and faster service deliveries.

The tasks range from mapping existing IT environments to design, development and further development of solutions in private, hybrid or public cloud. You work closely with other professionals in interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the entire delivery from architecture and automation to operation and improvement. The projects often have great social significance and are carried out both locally and nationally.

So who are you?

You have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft technology, and are motivated by being able to develop further in collaboration with large and exciting companies. You want to work on developing and automating infrastructure and applications on cloud platforms, and you are passionate about modern technology and architecture. As a person, you are sociable, you create trust in customer setting, and you are able to design, implement and optimize infrastructure and platform services. In addition, you speak fluent Norwegian and English, both in writing and orally.

Benefits

Competence, interest or experience we value extra

• Top expertise within Azure, preferably with relevant certifications
• Experience with security and network services from cloud platforms
• Experience with traditional Microsoft technology "on the ground"
• Experience of working in DevOps delivery model and processes
• Interest in designing, setting up and/or managing holistic Public Cloud and/or Hybrid architecture
• Experience with Software‑defined data center (SDDC) technologies such as VMware and NSX
• Scripting, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep)

Knowledge of microservices and containers.
