Clinical Chemist

Role Summary

As a Clinical Chemist you are part of the Clinical Chemistry department of Clinical Diagnostics SCAL. The department currently consists of one Clinical Chemist and will be expanded with a second colleague. This gives you the unique opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of clinical chemistry within our organization.

The work

You combine professional work with an active role in innovation, quality and organizational development. You are an important discussion partner for healthcare providers in the region and you contribute to optimal diagnostic support for patient care.

We are looking for a pleasant colleague who

Is a Registered Clinical Chemist or Doctor of Clinical Chemistry, or will obtain this registration in the short term.

An enthusiastic and ambitious professional who wants to actively contribute to the development of diagnostics.

Actively participates in education and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

Your duties include

• Interpreting various professional aspects of laboratory diagnostics.
• Areas of interest are divided in consultation.
• Contribute to organization-wide projects and innovations.
• Participate in day, evening and weekend shifts.
• Act as a medical content advisor and consultant for healthcare providers, especially within primary care.
• Contribute to the further development of our diagnostic services.
• Providing education and knowledge transfer to laboratory employees and applicants.
• Developing focus areas and projects that match your talents and interests.
• Collaborate with colleagues within Clinical Diagnostics Netherlands to further shape quality and innovation.
