Role Summary
Keleya is a woman-run FemTech startup from Berlin. Our mission: to give expectant and new parents the digital support they really need during pregnancy, birth and parental leave.
With our app we bundle evidence-based expert knowledge, personal consultations with certified midwives as well as video and live courses in one place. The result: As the only platform of its kind in Germany, we already cooperate with over 80 health insurance companies that cover the costs for our users. Since 2017, we have accompanied more than 1,000,000 mothers through the first two years of their baby's life.
We work data-driven, transparently and with the clear aim of working together as a team to enable access to knowledge for all women and families during this special time through integration into the health system.
After your first few years of work, would you like to take on more responsibility, work closer to a product and achieve a visible impact with your work?
As a Business Development Manager, you will strategically develop existing partnerships together with our health insurance partners and ensure that our digital health offerings reach even more women and families (B2B2C).
You combine relationship management with analytical and growth-oriented thinking. You work closely with our partners, Product Growth, Marketing and our Chief Revenue Officer and take responsibility for your own topics and projects early on.
Our goal is not simply to manage partnerships: We want to develop them further together with our health insurance companies, increase the use of our offers and sustainably integrate keleya into their care offering.
If you are looking for the next step in your development after your first few years in a startup, scale-up, consulting or a comparable environment and are interested in not only making recommendations but also implementing them yourself, this role could be a good fit for you.
Responsibilities
Your tasks at keleya
- As a business development manager, you will take responsibility for working with our existing health insurance partners.
- Your goal: Turn strong partnerships into real use and impact. Together with our partners and internal teams, you will ensure that our services reach the insured and that our collaborations are continuously developed.
- You work independently, structured and hands-on and actively advance topics.
Your tasks include
- Partner support: You will be responsible for existing health insurance partnerships and develop them further in direct communication with your contacts.
- Interface coordination: You understand the goals and needs of our partners, bring them into the company in a structured manner and coordinate the implementation with Product Growth, Marketing and other internal teams so that more insured people get to know and use our offers.
- Performance & Data Analytics: You regularly analyze performance and usage data, create reports and derive concrete measures from them for the further development of our partnerships.
- Potential analysis & growth: You identify potential within existing collaborations and, together with our partners, develop measures that increase usage, reach among potential keleya users and economic success.
- Stakeholder management: You coordinate different internal and external stakeholders and ensure that joint projects are implemented in a structured and reliable manner.
- Product integration: You contribute your own ideas and work with us to further develop how keleya can be integrated even more closely into the care offerings of our health insurance partners in the long term.
Requirements
This is what you bring with you
Education: You have a completed degree, for example in business administration, health economics, business psychology, public health or a comparable field - or have comparable training.
Professional experience: You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience and have already worked in an environment in which you had to take on responsibility early on, structure different topics and develop solutions independently, for example in a startup, scale-up, consulting or a comparable company.
- Industry plus: Experience in B2B partnership management, digital health, healthcare or working with health insurance companies is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Strong communication skills: You enjoy communicating with professional and demanding stakeholders and can build relationships in a trusting, confident and equal manner.
- Structure & Organization: You work in a very structured manner and maintain an overview even when several projects, partners and internal stakeholders come together in parallel.
- Personal initiative: You take responsibility for your issues, work reliably and don't wait for every next step to be given to you.
- Analytical thinking: You think analytically, can quickly classify key figures and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
- Mindset & Mission: You can identify with our mission and are interested in dealing intensively with women's health, digital health and the German healthcare system.
- Language skills: You have very good knowledge of German (C2) for professional communication with our health insurance partners as well as very good knowledge of English (C1).
- You don’t have to be a healthcare or partnership expert today. What is more important to us is that you learn quickly, have high expectations of your own work and have a desire to develop professionally and personally.
