Business Architect / Transversal Solutions Architect

Role Summary

Purpose of the positionDesign, govern and evolve the organization's business and software architecture, defining standards, reference architectures, technical guidelines and modernization strategies that guarantee scalability, security, interoperability, resilience and alignment with business objectives. Act as a transversal enabler between business, development, infrastructure, security, data and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain corporate reference architectures and target architecture.
• Lead the architectural committee and manage Architectural Decision Records (ADR).
• Define standards for APIs, integration, business events and versioning.
• Design solutions based on DDD, microservices, micro frontends, CQRS and Event Driven when applicable.
• Define development, testing, SDLC, CI/CD and DevSecOps guidelines.
• Promote Secure by Design, Zero Trust, observability and good quality practices.
• Evaluate technologies, develop PoCs and lead architecture reviews.
• Define the technological roadmap, identify obsolescence and lead modernization initiatives (6R).
• Participate in the Cloud Center of Excellence and define standards for Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
• Drive AI Assisted Development and establish guidelines for corporate use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Mentor technical teams and advise business areas on technological decisions.
• Manage application inventory, capability mapping and portfolio rationalization.

• Observability (OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Prometheus or similar).
• Security: OWASP ASVS, OWASP SAMM, NIST CSF, Threat Modeling and Secure by Design.
• Enterprise Architecture: Business Capability Mapping, Application Portfolio Management and architecture governance.
