We are looking for a Full Digital Analytics Analyst to work on measuring, analyzing and evolving the performance of our e-commerce.

This position will have both analytical and technical roles, being responsible for ensuring that the main customer journeys and interactions are correctly measured, in addition to transforming this data into insights for the E-commerce, Marketing, Product and Technology teams.

We are looking for someone with practical experience in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), event implementation and dataLayer structuring, preferably in e-commerce operations.

Experience with VTEX will be considered an important differentiator.

Implement and validate e-commerce events, such as

  • view_item_list;
  • select_item;
  • view_item;
  • add_to_cart;
  • remove_from_cart;
  • view_cart;
  • begin_checkout;
  • add_shipping_info;
  • add_payment_info;

purchase.

Create customized events to measure specific website journeys and interactions.

Troubleshoot tracking issues and data inconsistencies.

Test implementations using tools such as GTM Preview/Debug, GA4 DebugView and browser developer tools.

Validate new e-commerce features and releases from the perspective of analytics and tracking.

Document the measurement plan, events, parameters and implementation rules.

Support the governance and organization of GTM containers.

Analytics and e-commerce performance

Monitor and analyze the complete customer journey in e-commerce.

Build and track conversion funnels.

Identify points of abandonment, friction and opportunities to improve the digital experience.

Responsibilities

Tracking and implementation

  • Create, configure and maintain tags, triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Implement and evolve e-commerce tracking in Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Define and implement events, parameters and conversions according to business needs.
  • Structure dataLayer specifications for implementation by the development team.
  • Technically validate the implementation of the dataLayer and e-commerce events.

Requirements

Monitor indicators such as

  • sessions and users;
  • conversion rate;
  • add-to-cart;
  • cart abandonment;
  • checkout abandonment;
  • revenue;
  • orders;
  • average ticket;
  • performance by channel;
  • performance by device;
  • performance of categories and products.
  • Create and maintain digital performance dashboards.
  • Develop ad hoc analyzes to support E-commerce, Marketing, Product and Technology decisions.
  • Identify behavioral or measurement anomalies and investigate their causes.
  • Support analysis of campaigns and acquisition channels.
  • Support CRO, experimentation and A/B testing initiatives.

Mandatory requirements

  • Practical experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Solid experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Experience creating and implementing tags, triggers and variables.
  • Experience implementing events and parameters in GA4.
  • Knowledge of Enhanced Ecommerce / GA4 Ecommerce.
  • Experience with dataLayer implementation and validation.
  • Ability to develop tracking specifications for development teams.
  • Experience with debugging and tag validation tools.
  • Knowledge of the main KPIs and funnels of an e-commerce operation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or similar.
  • Ability to investigate data and tracking issues autonomously.
  • Basic/intermediate knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for implementing and troubleshooting tags.
