Role Summary

Objective of the position

The Market Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for transforming internal and external data into strategic intelligence to support commercial and business decisions.

It will work to identify market trends, opportunities and risks, combining market information, competition, customers, channels, categories and internal performance, with the aim of guiding growth decisions, prioritization of opportunities and Go-to-Market strategy.

He will be a technical reference in Market Intelligence, being responsible for developing more complex analyses, structuring methodologies and translating information into actionable recommendations for leadership and commercial areas.

Main responsibilities Market and Competition Intelligence

Continuously monitor the market, identifying trends, changes in behavior, opportunities and risks for the business.

Analyze movements of main competitors, including positioning, portfolio, prices, channels, launches and commercial strategies.

Structure market studies to size categories, segments, regions and channels.

Develop Wallet Share, Market Share and market potential analyses.

Build scenarios and analyzes that help the company anticipate market movements.

Identify spaces for growth and opportunities that have not yet been explored by the organization.

Customers, Segmentation and Potential

Develop segmentation and potential studies of customers, markets and territories.

Identify customer profiles and clusters with greater growth potential.

Analyze purchasing behavior, frequency, mix, penetration and evolution of customers.

Support the definition and evolution of the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and commercial prioritization criteria.

Identify opportunities for acquisition, retention, cross-selling and expansion of the customer base.

Support potential analysis and commercial coverage.

GTM Strategy Support

Provide market intelligence for building and reviewing Go-to-Market strategies.

Support decisions about where to play and how to win, indicating priority markets, segments, customers, channels and categories.

Connect external market information with internal commercial performance data.

Support studies to enter new markets, regions, channels or segments.

Evaluate growth opportunities and estimate their financial and commercial potential.

Work in partnership with Sales Operations, Marketing, Commercial and other areas to build strategic recommendations.

Strategic Analysis and Insight Generation

Develop advanced analyzes that explain not only what happened, but mainly why it happened and what actions should be taken.

Identify growth drivers, loss of performance and relevant changes in the market.

Develop business cases to evaluate opportunities.

Build scenarios, projections and sensitivity analyses.

Translate complex analyzes into clear and objective recommendations for different audiences.

Prepare executive materials for decision forums and leadership meetings.

Market Data and Sources

Identify, evaluate and structure external sources of information relevant to the business.

Ensure consistency and quality of information used in market research.

Integrate different data sources to build a single view of the market.

Develop methodologies and standards for recurring Market Intelligence analyses.

Support the automation and evolution of analyzes and indicators in the area.
