ADAS simulation and AOS software architecture expert_BCSC at Bosch Group in Shanghai, Shanghai, China.

Role Summary

This position is the core connection position between the field of ADAS simulation/tools and the field of AOS (automotive operating system) software architecture. It requires professional abilities in ADAS simulation tool development, simulation scene construction, and simulation verification. It is also required to be proficient in AOS software architecture design, module division, interface definition, and underlying adaptation logic. It is responsible for breaking through the technical barriers between simulation links and AOS architecture implementation, promoting the efficient connection of ADAS functions from simulation verification to actual vehicle software architecture implementation, and ensuring the simulation effectiveness, architectural feasibility, and engineering implementation efficiency of ADAS functions.

Responsibilities

Simulation and architecture connection design: Combining ADAS simulation requirements (scenario simulation, functional simulation, performance simulation), docking AOS software architecture design, formulating an adaptation plan for the simulation environment and AOS architecture, clarifying the connection specifications between simulation tools and AOS underlying modules, middleware, and application layer interfaces to ensure that simulation scenarios can accurately map the operating logic of the AOS architecture.

Adaptation development of simulation tools and AOS: Participate in the customized development of ADAS simulation tools (such as Prescan, Carsim, SIL/HIL simulation platform), responsible for interface development and data interaction debugging between simulation tools and AOS operating system, and solve problems such as incompatibility with AOS architecture and abnormal data transmission during the simulation process.

Architecture-level simulation verification: Based on the AOS software architecture design, build a targeted ADAS simulation verification scenario, simulate and verify the real-time performance, reliability, and resource occupancy of the AOS architecture, output a simulation report, and propose AOS architecture optimization suggestions while ensuring that the performance of ADAS functions in the simulation environment is consistent with the actual vehicle architecture.

Technology docking and collaboration: docking with the ADAS simulation/tool team, sorting out simulation requirements and converting them into implementable technical requirements for the AOS architecture; docking with the AOS software architecture team, synchronizing problems and optimization suggestions in the simulation process, promoting technical collaboration between the two parties, and resolving cross-domain technical differences.

Specifications and document output: Develop technical specifications, interface documents, and simulation verification processes for the connection between ADAS simulation and AOS architecture, accumulate technical experience, and output relevant technical documents, test reports, and optimization plans to support team standardization operations.

Technical research and innovation: Track the industry development trends of ADAS simulation technology and AOS software architecture technology, carry out technical research and propose innovative solutions for difficult issues in the connection between simulation and architecture (such as real-time simulation, multi-module collaborative simulation, and lightweight architecture adaptation).

Requirements

Educational qualifications and majors

Bachelor degree or above, computer science and technology, software engineering, vehicle engineering (intelligent network direction), automation and other related majors, more than 5 years of relevant work experience.

core skills

ADAS simulation capabilities: Proficient in at least one mainstream ADAS simulation tool (Prescan/Carsim/Simulink, etc.), have experience in simulation scenario construction, simulation use case design, SIL/HIL simulation testing, and understand the simulation verification logic of ADAS core functions (ACC, AEB, LCC, etc.).

AOS software architecture capabilities: Proficient in automotive operating system (AOS) architecture design, familiar with AOS underlying drivers, middleware (such as SOME/IP, DDS), application layer module division and interface definition, and understanding of the adaptation principles of AOS and ADAS functional modules.

Development and debugging capabilities: Possess a foundation in programming languages such as C/C++/Python, be able to develop and debug simulation tools and AOS interfaces, have the ability to locate and solve problems, and be familiar with automotive Ethernet and CAN/LIN bus related knowledge will be given priority.

Cohesion and collaboration capabilities: Have strong cross-domain technology docking capabilities, be able to clearly sort out simulation needs and architecture requirements, promote technical collaboration in the two fields, and have good communication, expression and document writing skills.

Bonus points

  • Applicants with experience in adapting ADAS simulation tools and vehicle operating systems (such as QNX, Linux, Android Automotive OS) will be given priority;
  • Applicants who have participated in the entire process of ADAS function projects from simulation verification to mass production will be given priority;
  • Familiar with functional safety (ISO 26262) related standards, and those with experience in functional safety related projects will be given priority.
