Role Summary

Responsibilities

What you’re responsible for

• Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment used in metal recycling operations
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
• Troubleshoot and identify issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repair tasks efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and log work performed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while conducting maintenance and repairs

To join our team

• Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License
• Previous experience as a 421A Mechanic , preferably in a industrial setting
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various weather conditions
