Working & Learning Field Service Employee in Amsterdam Region

Role Summary

As an Field Service Employee at SGS Search you will be trained as an asbestos analyst. You take air and material samples, perform visual inspections and carry out final measurements at residential locations where asbestos remediation has been carried out. You immediately process the results in a digital report and explain your findings to the remediator and client. You work independently in the Amsterdam region and start from home in the morning. With a company car you can drive to various projects, from homes and schools to large utility buildings, and keep in touch with colleagues and customers in between. In this way you make a concrete contribution to a safe living environment every day.

Requirements

• You work accurately, efficiently and independently. You have excellent communication skills and can explain your findings convincingly. Working at varying locations and times is no problem for you. In addition, you are flexible and solution-oriented within the legal frameworks.
• What are you bringing?
• MBO 4 working and thinking level.
• Experience with computers and reporting systems.
• Construction and/or technical experience is an advantage.
• Command of the Dutch language, spoken and written.
• In possession of driving license B.
• Willingness to follow internal training and develop yourself further.

We offer the opportunity for a work and learning process in which you are prepared internally for the position of Field Service Analyst. The working and learning process gives you the opportunity to make a career change. During the approximately 3-month process you will learn all the ins and outs of the analyst profession, after which you can set out independently. The course is divided into theory and practice. You will be at our office in Heeswijk-Dinther on Mondays and Tuesdays. You will spend the remaining days outside with an experienced colleague who will show you the work.

You will go through various modules, which will be completed with a theoretical and a practical test. We train you in bad news conversations and provide training for VCA and DTA.
