Welding Supervisor

Role Summary

Supervise, coordinate and ensure the correct execution of welding works, guaranteeing compliance with technical standards, in accordance with current national and international regulations, including ASME IX. In addition, it carries out its functions in strict compliance with the safety, quality standards and internal regulations of FAM Member of BEUMER Group and the Client.

Interpretation of welding standards

Requirements

• Experience: at least 10 years of experience in supervising welding work in industrial environments (mining, plants, workshops, etc.), maintenance, assembly or industrial mechanical reconstruction, on equipment such as: Rotopala, Spreader, conveyor belts.
• Training: Execution or civil engineering in industrial maintenance (University, Professional Institute) or related career.
• Certification as a Welding Inspector (e.g. AWS CWI or equivalent).
• Inspector Certification in non-destructive testing (END level 2).
• Knowledge and application of ASME Section IX (welder qualification – Art. III).
