Role Summary
We are looking for an Operator to develop best practices and strengthen our team, directly contributing to our mission of positive impact on the planet.
Responsibilities
- Carry out basic operation and maintenance of water treatment systems in general;
- Support activities related to installation (Hydraulics, mechanics and electrical) and assembly, testing, commissioning, start-up of systems;
- Perform water analysis and/or sample collection, preparation, identification and sending to the laboratory for analysis;
- Carry out administrative activities for the website: ordering materials, operational reports (internal and for customers), with photographic records, and
- expenses made periodically;
- Complete all field documentation such as RDOs, reports, forms, checklists using remote monitoring tools
- or other means, ensuring adequate records for internal control and presentation to the client;
- Ensure the availability of maintenance resources, in good condition on the site and properly inventoried;
- Carry out inventory and schedule orders for chemical products and other consumables (ex: Cartridge filter);
- Inspect and identify operational, maintenance and other problems, acting in the first service and facilitating the support team for the
- problem solving;
- Carry out basic preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Properly carry out operational maneuvers and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of treatment units
- achieving performance parameters;
- Check analyzers/instruments according to the company's procedure and send them for calibration/maintenance when necessary;
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks to the operation, communicating them to management in a timely manner;
- Comply with customer and corporate policies, such as EHS and Compliance;
- Ensure the organization of the area in which you work and 5S;
- Properly carry out dangerous energy blocking procedures;
- Preparation of chemical solutions and dosages, if necessary;
- Monitor the analytical parameters required in the operation, if necessary;
- Support in the preparation and control of the list of critical spare parts for operational reliability;
Execution of energy blocks (electrical, potential, thermal, etc.) in equipment/systems that will be maintained.
Requirements
- Technical training in Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical, Electromechanics, Automation or related;
- Practical experience in operation and/or maintenance of water treatment systems or related systems, with preference for Conventional Filtration, OR, UF, EDI, MBR technologies, among others;
- Proven ability to perform basic chemical analyzes for water and interpretation of results;
- Technical ability to read documents such as schematics, diagrams and P&Ids;
- Consolidated notions in industrial automation (basic principles in logic and control elements), mechanics, hydraulics and electrical;
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools;
Availability to work in shifts.
