Our team continues to explore and incorporate new and innovative approaches to attract visitors and provide exceptional customer service.

The Visitor Services Officer aims to

deliver quality visitor information services and support the Economic

Development team as required.

This position is a part time, job share role, and is based on a fortnightly roster of 24.5 hours. The hours are one day per week and every second weekend - Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

  • Visitor Information
  • Services
  • Provide high level of customer service, phone, online, face
  • to face
  • Cash handling, reconciliation, banking, stock management
  • Provide support and assistance to Volunteers
  • Update data bases and promotional collateral
  • Distribute promotional collateral
  • Retail display
  • Ensure the centre is maintained in line with agreed
  • standards
  • Project Assistance
  • Support ongoing development of the Destination Discovery
  • Hub
  • Support Economic Development Projects as required
  • Support Events as required including planning, marketing, logistics,
  • and operations
  • Marketing Promotion
  • Assist with promotion of the Shire as a destination to visit,
  • live and work
  • Ensure the Destination and Discovery Hub has the relevant
  • products to support Marketing Strategies.
  • Identify visitor product development opportunities
