Role Summary
Our Group
We are responsible for developing new capabilities for scanning electron microscope (SEM) tool for semiconductor production manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Development and customers to ensure requirements meet their needs.
- Plan, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new software projects maintain quality standards for company products.
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases at both code and system levels, ensuring full coverage of requirements and specifications.
- Perform various types of tests, including new functionality, regression, performance, and scheduled nightly runs.
- Create an efficient working environment by leveraging automation scripts to streamline and simplify testing tasks.
- Maintain documentation of test plans and test results to assist in debugging and software modification.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues and ensure seamless integration of software into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing workflows.
- Work independently in the field with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Stay up to date with the latest software testing trends and technologies.
Requirements
What should you have?
- A bachelor's degree or practical engineer in one of the scientific fields
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong technical skills in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle
