Position description

For the laboratory in Vejen, we are looking for talented young people over the age of 18, for positions as unskilled assistants. We are looking for you who are interested in natural science and are curious to learn more about the processes in connection with the analysis work carried out by our skilled laboratory teams. We provide thorough training. It is therefore not a requirement that you have previously worked in a laboratory - but it is important that you have the will and ability to acquire new knowledge and like to follow procedures.

As a laboratory assistant, you will be part of "Team Ung", which consists of a wide range of students from high schools and the university who have student jobs, as well as especially young people who work during their sabbatical. A gap year with us is an excellent stepping stone to a student job when you start your education. Here there is ample opportunity to gain an insight into the diverse tasks and job functions found in our laboratories, which are handled by, among others, laboratory technicians, chemists, microbiologists, environmental technologists, engineers, pharmacists, etc.

• The work consists of various tasks that all contribute to production in the laboratories, such as:
• Registration of samples
• Sample preparation
• Work with analysis instruments
• Current work in the laboratory, including replenishment of consumables
• Tidying up and cleaning in the department
