As a tutor at StudyGo, your main tasks are to provide tutoring or guidance to high school students. You do this digitally (from home) and 1 on 1 or in small groups. You also answer questions via chat and moderate the forum.

🎮 What are you going to do?

• Provides tutoring to students (individually or in small groups)
• Explains complex material clearly and step by step
• Helps students not only with answers, but with insight and thinking steps
• Answers substantive questions via chat
• Keep an eye on the forum, in addition to AI moderation
• Guarantees the quality of explanation and guidance on the platform

🌟Good to know

Tutoring is a large part of the position. Tutoring at StudyGo is developing and moving with new forms of guidance. Testing is conducted with 1-on-1 coaching lessons, with more focus on learning to learn rather than just knowledge transfer. This requires flexibility and that you feel comfortable in a role that continues to change.

Requirements

• 🔥 What do we expect from you
• WO student (mathematics/biology/geography/French)
• Excellent written and oral command of Dutch
• Familiar with mathematics/biology/geography or willing to learn this
• Demonstrated ability to easily explain and adapt complex concepts at different levels
• Declaration of conduct (we will request this for you)
• A safe and reliable workplace, the work is completely remote
• Advantage: Experience with moderation of online communities or forums
