Turner - Milling cutter

Role Summary

Purpose of the position

Carry out manufacturing and repair of tooling (molds, dies), using CNC/conventional machinery and welding, to guarantee the quality of the production processes and the reliability of the equipment.

Responsibilities

Main activities, roles, scope of responsibility and authority

• Follow the internal work regulations and safety requirements established by the company.
• Comply with and share Avery Dennison's ethics and values policy.
• Apply and promote the 5's in your work area.
• If you are part of any brigade and/or commission of the company, you must comply with the corresponding activities.
• Manufacture and repair tools, molds, dies, cutting dies and devices. Interpret plans and technical specifications to ensure precision in the manufactured parts.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, CNCs, grinding machines and other shop machines.
• Carry out welding processes on ferrous and non-ferrous parts.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and tools. Verify dimensions and characteristics of parts using calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
• Document work orders, inspections and maintenance carried out. Make the correct use of machinery and tools.
• Give notice when it is required to purchase material and/or tools.
• Certify tool quality, diagnose complex failures and provide immediate production support
• Responsibility to the QMS: Guarantee the conformity of the outputs of your process and contribute to the continuous effectiveness of the Quality Management System
• Operation of workshop machinery, repair of molds, dies and metal devices, as well as quality control and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Technical Career: Machine Tools or similar

Experience: 1-2 years

• Operation of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, CNC, grinding machine, welding machine).
• Interpretation of plans, tolerances and technical specifications.
• Preventive and corrective maintenanceISO 9001, ISO 14001
