How can you contribute to the realization of our common goals:
► getting to know the vehicle simulation platform in the MATLAB and GTSuite environment, starting from the component level (travel profiles, electric motor, battery, internal combustion engine, battery, thermal system, ...) through the simulated control functions to the simulation of the entire vehicle drive chain.
► parametrizing and running simulations and displaying and presenting the results to colleagues
► execution of systematic parameter optimizations (DoE – Design of Experiments) for component sizing and further development of the operational strategy
► further development of the simulation environment, automation of the processing of simulation inputs, optimization of the code and the runtime environment in terms of resources and runtime, automated display of results, etc.

What makes you special
- ► Active or (under 25) passive full-time student status
- ► Ongoing higher studies at Msc level, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle standards, electrical engineering, physics, IT, or similar fields
- ► Knowledge and interest in vehicle dynamics, drivetrain or thermal management systems
- ► First experience in dynamic modeling of mechanical or vehicle systems, e.g. using systems of differential equations
- ► Knowledge of the MATLAB simulation environment and script language, knowledge of the GTSuite simulation program is an advantage
- ► Good communication skills in English
- ► Long-term commitment of at least 20 hours per week, for at least 1 year
