Role Summary

Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations.

Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones.

  • Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures
  • Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
  • Providing outstanding service and protection to customers and public

Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.

Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment, such as:
  • Military
  • Construction
  • Utilities
  • Road Maintenance
  • Heavy Equipment or Skilled Operators
  • Experience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customers
  • OR
  • 1-2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
  • TCT/TCS Certification preferred but not required at time of hire
  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience (TMA, Box Truck, construction hauling etc.)
  • Able to Read/Interpret Blueprints preferred
  • OSHA 10/30 a plus
  • Valid state driver's license

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening for this Safety Sensitive position, including a drug test.
